RACINE - Mark Twain Woods, 34, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. Mark was born on September 21, 1976, in Chicago, Ill. He was one of three children born to Roosevelt and Valerie Woods. Mark was raised in Racine and attended J.I. Case High School. He worked as a Licensed Barber and also as a Maintenance Engineer. He was a very brave soul, who wasn’t afraid to take a chance or venture out. He loved listening to music; playing basketball; cutting hair; and most of all, making people laugh. He was the man of a thousand sayings. Mark was also known for touching the lives of many people with his trademark smile, generosity, and sense of humor. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and friends. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011, 11 a.m. at the St. Paul Baptist Church, 1123 Center Street, with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
